Public Hearing - Solar Project along 76 Road

The Tompkins County Industrial Development Agency (TCIDA) will conduct a Public Hearing regarding financial assistance to the developer of a Community Solar Project along 76 Road (Caroline - O76 Solar LLC) on Thursday, November 6, 2025, at 4:30 pm at the Caroline Old Town Hall, 2670 Slaterville Road, Slaterville Springs, NY 14881. Information about the project is at the TCIDA website, HERE (see Caroline Solar). TCIDA is contemplating providing financial assistance to the Company in the form of exemptions from mortgage recording taxes (as permitted by NYS law), and sales and use taxes (consistent with TCIDA's Uniform Tax Exemption Policy), and a partial abatement of real property taxes effectuated through a payment-in-lieu-of-tax agreement (PILOT Agreement), including a deviation from standard policy.
