At the Town of Caroline’s August board meeting, a resolution was passed to establish a Highway Facilities Task Force. The current facility has been assessed to be at the end of its useful life and insufficient to accommodate modern highway equipment and storage needs. The town is seeking 2-3 volunteers with the following areas of expertise – architecture/building, capital planning, environmental management/sustainability – to serve on the committee, which is anticipated to complete its work by the end of 2021. The committee will be co-chaired by Councilmembers John Fracchia and Cal Snow.
