  • To enrich the town and allow convenient access to library resources, a Community Library was established utilizing the resources of the Tompkins County Public Library and the Finger Lakes Library System. Local town residents dedicate their time and effort to serve their community by running the library.

  • Stop by the Caroline Community Library to sample wonderful collections of books, videos, and audio books. There is ample and free parking at the Caroline Town Hall. We can even get books for you by request from inter-library loan and there are two computers available for your use with high-speed Roadrunner Internet connection courtesy of Time Warner Cable. If you have books that needs to be returned to the downtown Ithaca library, then you can return them to the Community Library and they will be delivered to TCPL - saves you a trip into town! Materials available at the Community Library include young adult fiction, paperbacks, juvenile non-fiction, picture books, large-type books, biographies, adult non-fiction and fiction, videos, and audio books. Your friends and family in the Town of Caroline staff the Community Library so stop by during these hours to browse the books and say hello.

The Community Library, located in the Town Hall, is open from 6:30 to 8:30 PM on Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 12:30 to 3:30 PM on Fridays, from 10:00 AM until Noon on Saturdays (staffed by the Caroline Youth Group) and from 1:00 to 2:30 PM on Sundays
